Witness Immunity Immunity is an exemption from a legal requirement, prosecution, or penalty granted by government authorities or statute. Witness immunity is immunity granted from prosecution to someone in exchange for information or testimony in a criminal trial. In my opinion there should be no witness immunity whatsoever. Basically the purpose of punishment for criminal deeds is to stop/limit criminal deeds not to punish criminals. If there is no criminal deed there would be no punishment. If you give immunity to witness basically you are encouraging people to do criminal deeds. Following are the reasons why;  1) Only criminals who are bad / corrupt would take witness immunity and give witness against their partner in crime. 2) Taking witness immunity is not an option for criminals with moral values. Bad / corrupt criminals would think that they can do criminal deeds and when they are caught they might get witness immunity. 3) If there is no witness immunity a person would think...

The life you are spending now matters. The moment that you are living now matters. The life you had spent in the past, or the life you might spend in the future does not matter.   You can only live in the present. Present is what matters. You cannot live in the Past or Future.

 Today I watched the movie “The Curious Case of Benjamin Button” (2008). In the movie a person was born old and grows to become a kid.  I was thinking it is unthinkable for us to imagine being born old and growing to become a kid, because it never happens. The question is if it is possible, and I think it is possible but unthinkable because it does not happen.  The thing is there are things that are possible but unthinkable, because our thinking is limited. We need to un-limit our thinking so we can think beyond unthinkable.  

 Today I watched the movie The Shawshank Redemption. It is a story revolving around a prison in the USA. I was thinking if a child was born in prison and lived his entire life in prison, then the prison would be the world for him.  What if what we think is the world is actually a prison we are born in?
