Artist Vs Craftsman
Any art you do is a piece of art for you, but for others, it is a craft, not art. If you want to experience art, then you have to do it yourself.
A living human being consists of two things: one, a body,
and second, a soul. A body without a soul is a dead body, not a human being.
The art you did has a soul for you, but for others, it is
just a craft, without a soul.
Michelangelo, Picasso, Leonardo da Vinci, Beethoven, Mozart,
Shakespeare, Tolstoy, Elvis, Michael Jackson, Alfred Hitchcock, Marlon Brando, Marilyn
Monroe, etc., were all craftsmen for others. For you, the only art is the artwork
you did. All the other people's artwork is craft, and has no soul for you.
So sing a song, write a poem, compose music, play an
instrument, draw a painting, dance, your artwork is art for you because it has
a soul for you. For others, it is a craft without a soul. As a painter, you
might have very bad painting skills, but the painting you drew is the best
artwork for you, because others’ artwork is not art, it is craft, i.e., without
a soul.
